Blazerworks is actively seeking a passionate and skilled School Occupational Therapist (OT) to join a partnered school district in New Braunfels, TX, for the 2024-2025 school year. Position Details:
- Location: New Braunfels, TX
- Position: Full-Time School Occupational Therapist (OT)
- Schedule: 2024-2025 school year
Responsibilities:
- Provide targeted occupational therapy services to students with varying needs, including assessments, individual and group sessions, and collaboration with teachers and support staff.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans, focusing on enhancing students' functional abilities in the school setting.
- Work closely with teachers, counselors, and families to ensure therapy plans align with educational goals.
- Participate in IEP meetings to evaluate and adjust therapy goals and monitor student progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation and report on student progress and areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
- Licensure: Current and valid Texas Occupational Therapist (OT) license.
- Experience: Previous experience in a school setting is highly preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with educators, parents, and the community.
