Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced School Social Workers for a full-time role with school districts in the area.
Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and group counseling to students to address emotional, behavioral, and social challenges.
- Develop and implement intervention strategies to support students' academic and social success.
- Conduct assessments to identify students needs and develop appropriate service plans.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student well-being.
- Connect students and families with community resources and support services.
- Advocate for students needs within the school setting and community.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to develop and review student support plans.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of services provided.
Requirements:
- Masters degree in Social Work (MSW) or a related field.
- Valid state licensure as a School Social Worker.
- Knowledge of local and state regulations and requirements for school social work.
- Experience working with students in a school setting.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage a caseload and provide services to a diverse student population.
