Job Overview
Blazer Jobs is seeking an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a school-based role in Kingston, NH. This opportunity is ideal for a dedicated SLP looking to positively impact students' communication abilities within a supportive school environment. As an SLP, you will provide assessments, individualized therapy, and intervention strategies to help students achieve their communication goals.
Job Duties:
- Conduct assessments to evaluate speech, language, and communication needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and therapy goals for students.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other support staff to monitor student progress and adjust interventions as necessary.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of student evaluations, progress, and treatment plans in compliance with school policies and state guidelines.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and provide input for student progress.
- Educate school personnel and families on communication development and best practices for supporting speech-language improvement.
Requirements:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Current New Hampshire SLP licensure (or eligibility to obtain licensure).
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- A minimum of one year of recent experience in a school or pediatric setting.
- Comprehensive knowledge of IDEA and experience with IEPs preferred.
