Blazerworks is thrilled to partner with the Lynn, MA, school district to hire a passionate and skilled School Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA). This full-time position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact by supporting students communication skills and overall development within a supportive and dynamic educational setting.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in providing direct speech and language services to students.
- Support the SLP in implementing individualized education programs (IEPs) and adjusting treatment plans as needed.
- Monitor and document students' progress, maintaining detailed records and reporting changes.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and the SLP team to foster a supportive learning environment.
- Participate in professional development activities to enhance skills and stay current with best practices.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program or a related field.
- Valid SLPA license or certification in Massachusetts.
- Previous experience working with school-aged children is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to collaborative teamwork.
