Responsibilities:
- Consult and collaborate with staff and parents about prevention, early interventions, and community resources and outside therapies
- Assist with referral and/or maintaining communication with community or private agencies for further evaluation, treatment, or services when needed
- Serve as a contributing member on building and district level teams (i.e. crisis team, MTSS team, student services building teams, grade level teams, PBIS, department meetings etc.)
Qualifications:
- Masters Degree or higher in Social Work, School Counseling,or related field
- State License/Certification in Illinoisas a School Social Worker/Counselor AND PEL
- Previous experience in an educational setting
- 2-3 reference checks prior to start
Schedule:
- Start/End Dates: ASAP - May 23, 2025
- Hours: Part Time (3 days/week) and Full Time (35 hours/week)
- Caseload Details: Two Openings
- Kindergarten - 12th Grade caseload (Full Time)
- Transitional caseload (Part Time)
