Blazerworks is proud to partner with a dedicated school district in Wilmington, DE, to hire a full-time School Occupational Therapist (OT) for the2024-2025 school year. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the development and success of students by helping them improve their motor, sensory, and adaptive skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and group occupational therapy services to students, addressing physical, sensory, and developmental needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
- Perform assessments, document progress, and adjust therapy plans to best support each student's goals.
- Maintain records of services and communicate regularly with stakeholders regarding student progress.
Requirements:
- Valid Delaware Occupational Therapist (OT) license.
- Experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations is preferred.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, staff, and families.
- Dedication to improving student outcomes and supporting their educational success.
