Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for a full-time role with school districts in the Waxahachie, TX area. We are looking for passionate professionals dedicated to helping students overcome speech and language challenges and reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify students' speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Develop individualized treatment plans to address specific student needs.
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students in both individual and group settings.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support students' communication needs in the classroom.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
- Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings and provide input on students' speech and language goals.
- Stay up-to-date with best practices and new developments in speech therapy for school-aged children.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid Texas SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
- Experience working in a school or pediatric setting is preferred.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of IEP processes and procedures is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations.
