School Therapy Support Assistant (COTA) in Yuma, AZ

Blazer Jobs is hiring a School Therapy Support Assistant (COTA) to join a team of specialists supporting students in Yuma, AZ. Were looking for Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants skilled in delivering hands-on therapeutic support in school settings.

Responsibilities:

Work closely with Occupational Therapists to implement therapy programs targeting student goals
Provide direct support in fine motor skills, sensory processing, and functional skill-building
Engage with classroom teachers to integrate therapeutic activities and promote students functional independence
Keep accurate documentation of therapy sessions, progress, and challenges for each student

Requirements:

Certification: Active Arizona COTA license
Education: Associates degree from an accredited COTA program
Experience: At least one year of experience working with children, ideally in a school environment
