Blazer Jobs is seeking a dedicated Student Occupational Skills Facilitator (COTA) to support occupational therapy services for students in Rodeo, CA. This role is ideal for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant with a passion for assisting students in developing functional skills for academic and personal success.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in implementing individualized occupational therapy treatment plans under OT supervision
- Support students in improving fine motor, sensory processing, and adaptive skills within the classroom setting
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to enhance students' functional and social development
- Document student progress, maintain records, and report to supervising OT
- Provide support in sensory and motor planning activities tailored to individual student needs
Requirements:
- Certification: Current California COTA license
- Education: Associate's degree from an accredited occupational therapy assistant program
- Experience: Minimum of one year of experience in pediatric or school-based settings
