Classroom Occupational Therapy Technician (COTA) in Espanola, NM

Blazer Jobs is looking for a Classroom Occupational Therapy Technician (COTA) to support students in Espanola, NM. Ideal candidates will be certified and experienced in fostering student development through therapeutic interventions.

Responsibilities:

Provide direct support to students with diverse needs, as guided by the OT
Encourage students to build fine motor, sensory, and self-care skills within the classroom
Collaborate with educators to create a therapeutic environment that supports student success
Maintain comprehensive records of each students progress and therapy sessions

Requirements:

Certification: Valid New Mexico COTA license
Education: Associates degree in Occupational Therapy Assistance
Experience: At least one year working with school-age children in therapy settings
