Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist to provide on-site services. The ideal candidate will work with clients to develop and implement individualized treatment plans, providing direct therapy and support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to determine clients' occupational therapy needs.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to each client's goals and abilities.
- Provide direct therapy services in individual and group settings, focusing on enhancing daily living skills and functional independence.
- Monitor and document client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to support clients' development and integration into their environments.
- Participate in the development and review of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students requiring occupational therapy services.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of therapy sessions and client outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Valid Maryland Occupational Therapist license.
- Experience working with a diverse client population is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
