We are seeking a skilled and passionate SLP to provide essential services to K-12 students, helping them improve communication skills and achieve academic success. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to K-12 students with communication disorders
- Conduct assessments to identify speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with educators, families, and specialists
- Track student progress and adjust therapy approaches as needed
- Work closely with teachers and support staff to ensure successful integration of communication goals within classroom activities
- Provide consultation to parents and educators on effective strategies for communication development
Requirements:
- Education & Certification: Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology, with active Colorado licensure or eligibility for CO licensure
- Certification: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred
- Experience: Experience working with K-12 students is a plus
- Skills: Strong communication, assessment, and interpersonal skills
