Job Description:Blazer Jobsisproud to be partnering with a School District that isseeking a dedicated and skilled School Occupational Therapist (OT) near Columbia, MO.This is a contract position where you will provide therapeutic services to students in a school setting, helping them achieve their academic and functional goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting assessments and evaluations to determine students' needs and goals.
- Developing individualized therapy plans for students.
- Providing therapy sessions to students in one-on-one or group settings.
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support students' progress.
- Maintaining accurate documentation and records of students' progress.
- Participating in IEP meetings and providing input on students' goals.
Qualifications:
- Active MA Occupational Therapy license.
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Experience in a school setting is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
