Responsibilities: As a School Psychologist, you will:
- Conduct assessments to identify students cognitive, academic, social, emotional, and behavioral needs
- Develop and implement individualized strategies and interventions to support student learning and well-being
- Provide counseling and support to students individually and in groups
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to create supportive learning environments
- Participate in IEP and 504 plan meetings, offering insights and recommendations for student success
- Support crisis intervention efforts as needed
Requirements: To qualify for this position, applicants must meet the following local and state requirements:
- Licensure: Active Oregon state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist
- Education: Masters degree or higher in School Psychology or a related field
- Certification: Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP) credential is preferred, though not required
- Clearances: Current state and federal background checks, including Oregon Department of Education clearance
- Experience: Prior experience working in a school setting is highly desirable
