Blazer Jobs is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced School Psychologist for a full-time position with school districts in the Richardson, TX area. We are looking for a compassionate professional who can work with students, teachers, and families to provide psychological services and support student success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational evaluations to assess students' learning needs and cognitive abilities.
- Provide consultation and guidance to teachers, administrators, and parents regarding students' emotional, behavioral, and academic needs.
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Offer counseling services to students to address mental health concerns, emotional regulation, and social skills development.
- Assist in crisis intervention and provide support during emergencies.
- Provide professional development for staff on mental health, behavioral issues, and educational strategies.
- Maintain accurate records of assessments, interventions, and progress.
Qualifications:
- Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field.
- Valid Texas School Psychologist certification or licensure.
- Experience in providing psychological services in a school setting is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with students, staff, and parents.
- Knowledge of various psychological assessments, diagnostic tools, and intervention strategies.
