Responsibilities: As a Speech-Language Pathologist in our partner school district, you will:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address communication disorders
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support students educational goals
- Maintain detailed records of student progress and provide regular updates
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team planning for student success
Requirements: To qualify for this position, applicants must meet the following local and state requirements:
- Licensure: Active Pennsylvania state license in Speech-Language Pathology
- Education: Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Certification: Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA (preferred)
- Clearances: Updated PA state clearances, including Act 34 (Criminal Background), Act 151 (Child Abuse), and Act 114 (FBI Fingerprint)
- Experience: Prior experience in a school setting is highly preferred
