Position Requirements:
- Licensure: Valid Pennsylvania Speech-Language Pathology license
- Certification: ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Education: Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- Experience: Prior experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations is a plus
- Compliance: Clear background checks, including state and federal requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify students' speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address identified needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to support students' progress
- Provide direct therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals
- Monitor and document students' progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide expert input on communication strategies
