Minimum 1+ years speech therapy experience required.
We are partnering with aschool in the state ofMichigan looking for afull-time, remoteSpeech Language Pathologist (SLP) for the full school year. We are looking for adedicated candidate wanting to join our team to work with our Special Educationstudents!
Position Details:
- Current School Year
- Full-Time: up to 40 hours per week
- Caseload: K - 12th grade students, specific caseload details will be discussed during the interview process
- Pay Range: $35 - $50per hour, depending on previous experience
Requirements:
- Must have an active SLP Michigan License
- Must have an active SLP License in state of residency, if applicable
- Must have Masters Degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Previous experience preferred, but not required
- Must have ASHA-CCCs
General Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech, language, and communication disorders among students.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results, setting appropriate goals and objectives for each student.
- Deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy services to students with a variety of communication disorders.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and other school staff to integrate speech therapy with educational objectives.
- Consult and communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and strategies for reinforcement at home.
- Participate in Individualized Education Plan (IEP) meetings, contributing expert knowledge and recommendations for speech therapy services.
