About the role:
- Comprehensive Student Support: Provide social work services to students across elementary, middle, and high school grade levels.
- Individual and Group Counseling: Conduct individual and group counseling sessions to address social, emotional, and behavioral challenges.
- Crisis Intervention: Provide crisis intervention and support services to students and families in times of need.
- Collaborative Approach: Collaborate closely with educators, administrators, and community resources to support students' academic and social-emotional success.
- Advocacy and Case Management: Advocate for students' needs and provide case management services to ensure access to necessary resources and support.
Qualifications:
- Licensure: Licensed through the State Board as a School Social Worker.
- Education: Masters degree in Social Work or related field.
- Experience: Previous experience in a school setting or working with children and adolescents preferred.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team, and proficiency in conducting assessments and developing intervention plans.
