Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for a full-time role within school districts in the Wyoming, DE area.
Responsibilities:
- Assess and identify students speech, language, and communication needs.
- Develop personalized intervention strategies and IEPs.
- Provide speech therapy services on a one-on-one or small group basis.
- Evaluate students for eligibility, write eligibility documents, create IEP goals from evaluations.
- Write IEPs, attend IEP meetings to present to parents and IEP teams.
- Collect progress monitoring data, complete quarterly progress reports, complete digital therapy notes and finalize for Medicaid billing.
Requirements:
- Masters degree in speech-language pathology from an accredited institution.
- Valid Delaware licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Must complete state-mandated background checks and obtain proper clearances.
- Previous school experience is highly preferred.
