Minimum 1+ years occupational therapy experience required.
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Occupational Therapist to join ourteam! Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and group occupational therapy services to students with diverse needs, helping them develop fine motor, sensory, and adaptive skills
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students abilities and develop personalized intervention plans
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure students needs are met across academic, social, and physical domains
- Develop and implement strategies to support students in classroom activities, daily routines, and functional independence
- Document students progress and maintain accurate records in accordance with district and state guidelines
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and provide input on goals and accommodations for students requiring occupational therapy services
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current Californiacertification/licensure as an Occupational Therapist
- Experience working with children in a school or pediatric setting preferred
- Strong understanding of developmental and sensory needs of school-aged children
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and school staff
- Ability to adapt to a dynamic school environment and address diverse student needs
