This role involves managing a caseload of high school students, ensuring that each students Individualized Education Program (IEP) is effectively implemented, and collaborating with teachers, therapists, and families to provide the necessary support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the development and implementation of IEPs for high school students.
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and other professionals to ensure appropriate educational accommodations and services.
- Maintain clear communication with parents and guardians regarding student progress.
- Monitor and track student progress toward IEP goals.
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations related to special education.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Experience working with high school students in special education settings is preferred.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of educators and specialists.
