Part-Time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in Nebraska City, NE
Blazer Jobs, in partnership with the Nebraska City school district, is excited to announce an opening for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a part-time, onsite position for the upcoming school year. This role offers a rewarding opportunity to work with a diverse group of middle and high school students, providing essential speech and language services.
Position Details:
- Location: Nebraska City, NE
- Caseload: Middle and High School
- Number of Students: Approximately 22
- Hours: Likely 8 hours per week (1 day/week)
- Duration: Upcoming school year with potential renewal based on performance and district needs
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations of students' speech, language, and communication skills
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on students' specific needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support students' educational goals
- Provide direct therapy services to students and monitor their progress
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and communication with parents/guardians
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations for accommodations and support

Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Nebraska
- ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience working with middle and high school students is a plus
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team
