Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Speech-Language Pathology Assistants for a full-time role within school districts in the Yelm, WA area.
Responsibilities:
- Implement treatment plans developed by a licensed SLP.
- Assist with speech, language, and hearing screenings as appropriate.
- Provide direct therapy to students with speech-language needs.
- Document therapy sessions, track student progress, and report observations.
- Support the SLP with creating lesson plans, materials, and other therapy-related tasks.
Requirements:
- An associate's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assisting or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Active Washington state SLPA license from the Washington State Department of Health.
- Prior school-based experience is preferred but not required.
- Successful completion of a background check in compliance with state laws and district policies.
