Blazerworks, in partnership with the Aurora school district, is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team for the 2024-2025 school year. This full-time position offers the chance to work closely with students of various age groups, helping them overcome speech, language, and communication challenges to reach their full potential. Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose students speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that support student goals
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support and monitor student progress
- Provide therapy and interventions to improve students' communication abilities
- Maintain accurate records of student evaluations, progress, and treatment sessions
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to individualized education planning
- Educate students, staff, and families on strategies to support communication development

Qualifications:
- Education: Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certification: Current Colorado SLP license or eligibility for licensure
- Experience: Previous experience in school settings is a plus
- Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills; ability to work well in a team
