Minimum 1+ years occupational therapy experience required.
We are now interviewing for a full-time Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team in Seattle, WA, for the upcoming school year. This position is an excellent opportunity for a compassionate OT looking to make a significant impact on K-12 students' development and success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of students' motor, sensory, and functional needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on students' IEPs.
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and school staff to integrate therapeutic strategies into the classroom environment.
- Monitor student progress and make necessary adjustments to interventions.
- Document therapy sessions and participate in IEP meetings to contribute insights on student needs and progress.
Requirements:
- Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Active Occupational Therapy license in Washington State.
- Experience in a school setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaborative skills.
- Ability to work effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
