School Psychologist Full Time

Blazer Jobs is actively seeking a dedicated School Psychologist for a full timeposition within school districts in the Ann Arbor, Michiganarea for 32.5 hours/week. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support the academic, emotional, and social development of students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments to identify students' needs, strengths, and challenges.
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans (BIPs).
- Provide individual and group counseling services to students, addressing issues such as learning difficulties, emotional regulation, and social skills development.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to create a supportive learning environment and develop strategies for student success.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss students' progress and recommend appropriate interventions.
- Conduct classroom observations and provide recommendations for instructional and behavioral strategies.
- Offer crisis intervention and support during emergency situations.
- Stay current with best practices in school psychology and contribute to ongoing professional development activities.
Qualifications:
- Must hold a valid Michigan School Psychologist certification.
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution.
- Strong knowledge of state and federal regulations related to special education and psychological services.
- Experience working with diverse student populations and a range of psychological issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Ability to manage multiple cases and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
