Minimum 1+ years speech therapy experience required.
We are looking for a motivated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist to work with elementary-aged students in Glendale, AZ. The ideal candidate will assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders, collaborating with educators and families to support student success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech and language disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each students needs.
- Provide direct therapy services to students in a one-on-one or small group setting.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student goals.
- Provide guidance and resources to families regarding communication development.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of appropriate goals.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Valid Arizona Speech-Language Pathologist license.
- ASHA Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Experience working with elementary-aged students in a school setting is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
