Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to determine students' occupational therapy needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student evaluations.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student development.
- Monitor and document students progress towards goals.
- Provide direct therapy services in accordance with IEPs.
- Educate students and families on strategies to improve daily living and functional skills.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to program development.
Qualifications:
- Valid state license as an Occupational Therapist.
- Bachelors, Masters, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Experience working in school settings preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
