Are you a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist eager to support students' physical health and educational progress? We are currently seeking a School Physical Therapist (PT) for a K-12 caseload. Join our collaborative team and help students achieve their fullest potential!
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct physical therapy services to K-12 students to enhance their physical abilities and support educational access.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each students needs.
- Work closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to implement effective strategies within the classroom setting.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute valuable insights for student accommodations and therapy goals.
- Maintain accurate records of services provided and monitor students progress toward therapy goals.
- Educate school staff on best practices for supporting students with physical needs.
Requirements:
- Valid Physical Therapist (PT) license in the state of Illinois.
- Previous experience working in a school setting or with pediatric populations preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload and provide individualized, student-centered care.
- Knowledge of special education regulations and experience with IEP processes.
