Minimum 1+ years school psychologist experience required.
BlazerJobs is currently seeking a highly qualified School Psychologist to join a dynamic educational team in Vail, CO. This is a full-time position (37.5 hours per week) where the School Psychologist will play a key role in supporting students' mental health, academic development, and overall well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational assessments for students to evaluate their cognitive, emotional, and academic needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop and implement interventions and strategies for students with academic or behavioral challenges.
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention services to students as needed.
- Assist in the development of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and provide recommendations for accommodations and services.
- Participate in multidisciplinary teams to support students with special educational needs.
- Provide professional development and training to staff on mental health topics, behavioral interventions, and supporting students with diverse needs.
- Conduct data collection and analysis to track student progress and outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.
- Valid Colorado School Psychologist certification or the ability to obtain it.
- Previous experience working as a school psychologist in an educational setting preferred.
- Strong knowledge of psychological assessments, data interpretation, and evidence-based interventions.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with staff, parents, and community members.
