Blazer Jobs is seeking a full-time Speech Language Pathologist for an on-site position in Minooka, IL. This role involves providing speech and language therapy services, conducting evaluations, and collaborating with educators and families to support student communication and academic development.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to students based on IEPs and MTSS
- Conduct speech and language evaluations, screenings, and assessments
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans for students
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to support student communication and language development
- Monitor and document student progress towards IEP goals
- Chair speech-only IEP meetings and assist with IEP development
- Provide consultation to teachers on speech and language strategies for classroom support
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and services
Qualifications:
- Valid Illinois Speech-Language Pathologist licensure
- Experience working with students in a school setting preferred
- Ability to develop and implement effective therapy plans for diverse student needs
