Blazer Jobs is seeking a dedicated and professional School Psychologist for a virtual full-time position serving a school district in Pontiac, MI for the 2024-2025 school year. This remote opportunity allows you to work from the comfort of your own home while still making a significant impact on students academic and emotional development. This is a 1099 contract position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide psychological assessments, counseling, and support services to students in special education programs via telehealth
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) virtually
- Conduct evaluations and provide recommendations related to students academic, behavioral, and emotional needs through online platforms
- Assist in crisis intervention and behavior management strategies remotely
- Support school staff in creating an inclusive and positive virtual learning environment for students with disabilities
Requirements:
- State licensure and certification as a School Psychologist in Michigan
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
- At least twoyears of experience in a school or special education setting is preferred
- Experience with telehealth platforms and virtual service delivery (preferred)
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
