Blazer Jobs is seeking a skilled and compassionate Remote School Psychologist to support K-12 students in Ketchikan, Alaska. This is a full-time, fully remote position where youll collaborate with school staff and parents to assess and provide psychological services to students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct remote assessments to evaluate students' cognitive, emotional, and social needs.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and 504 plans.
- Provide virtual counseling, crisis intervention, and behavioral management support.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school administrators to create supportive learning environments.
- Deliver training to staff and parents on psychological and behavioral interventions.
- Maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with district and state guidelines.
Requirements:
- Education: Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.
- License/Certification: Valid Alaska School Psychologist certification.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a School Psychologist, preferably in a virtual setting.
- Proficiency with teletherapy platforms and digital tools.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
