Job Description:
We are hiring a Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) to provide psychological services at the elementary level in Leander, TX. This flexible role allows you to work either part-time (20 hours) or full-time (40 hours), offering essential support across 1 or 2 elementary campuses. You will be responsible for conducting evaluations, providing psych services, and covering ARD meetings. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-person psychological evaluations for elementary students.
- Provide psych services to support students emotional, behavioral, and academic development.
- Participate in ARD (Admission, Review, and Dismissal) meetings to discuss individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Collaborate with educators, staff, and parents to develop effective strategies to support students' needs.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations related to special education.
Qualifications:
- Licensure: Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) in the state of Texas.
- Experience in conducting evaluations and attending ARD meetings is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and parents to meet the needs of students.
