This full-time role is an amazing opportunity to work closely with licensed Speech-Language Pathologists and make a meaningful difference in the lives of students.
Position Overview:
- Location: Victorville, CA
- Role: Full-Time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
- Start Date: Immediate
- Pay: Competitive, based on experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist Speech-Language Pathologists in providing therapy services to students
- Implement speech and language programs designed to meet students' needs
- Document progress and collaborate with school staff and families
- Work with a diverse student population, including students with special needs
- Provide one-on-one or small group therapy sessions under the supervision of an SLP
Qualifications:
- At least one year of experience as an SLPA, preferably in a school setting
- Must meet all federal and state licensing and certification requirements in California
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- A passion for helping students improve their communication skills
