Job Overview:
We are seeking an enthusiastic Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to work with K-12 students across schools in Charlotte, NC. The BCBA will play a crucial role in developing and implementing behavior intervention plans, collaborating with teachers, and fostering a supportive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) for students.
- Design and implement individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) based on student needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure consistent implementation of behavioral strategies.
- Provide training and guidance to school staff on effective behavioral interventions and techniques.
- Monitor student progress, collect data, and adjust interventions as needed to ensure positive outcomes.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of individualized education plans.
Requirements:
- Active BCBA certification.
- Masters degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or a related field.
- Experience working with K-12 students in a school setting.
- Strong skills in data collection, analysis, and report writing.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with staff, students, and families.
