Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to evaluate students' needs and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to students with various disabilities
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to support students' educational goals
- Document therapy sessions and maintain student records in compliance with district policies
- Assist in the development of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students
- Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
Requirements:
- Must have a Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Active state Occupational Therapy license
- Experience in a school setting is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of special education laws and IEP processes
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
