Blazer Jobs is actively seeking experienced School Psychologists for full-time positions with school districts in the Shiprock, NM area. We are looking for compassionate and qualified professionals dedicated to supporting students mental health and academic success.

Requirements: Applicants must meet the following local and state requirements to be considered:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field.
- Valid New Mexico state licensure/certification as a School Psychologist.
- Experience in an educational setting, preferably with K-12 students.
- Strong understanding of state and federal regulations related to special education.
- Ability to pass a background check and fingerprint screening as mandated by the state.
- Excellent communication, assessment, and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities: Key responsibilities of a School Psychologist include, but are not limited to:
- Conducting psychological assessments and evaluations for students to identify learning, behavioral, and emotional needs.
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and school staff to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) and interventions.
- Providing counseling and support services to students to promote emotional well-being.
- Assisting in crisis intervention and providing resources for mental health support.
- Consulting with educators and parents on effective strategies for classroom management and student success.
- Participating in multi-disciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and make recommendations.
- Documenting and maintaining confidential student records in compliance with district and state regulations.
