Blazer Jobs is excited to offer a full-time position for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in Chalmette, Louisiana. This role involves working directly with students in schools to help them overcome speech and language difficulties, ensuring their educational needs are met.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations.
- Design and implement customized treatment plans for students.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to optimize student outcomes.
- Provide individual and group therapy as needed.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy as required.
Requirements:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Active Louisiana Speech-Language Pathologist license.
- ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Minimum of one year of experience working with children or in schools.
- Knowledge of Louisiana state regulations and IEP requirements.
