Position Overview:
- Location: Near Minden, LA
- Full-Time, Contract Position
- Competitive Pay: $30 - $35 per hour (based on experience)
- Immediate Start Available
Key Responsibilities:
- Support licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) in delivering speech and language therapy services to students
- Work one-on-one and in small groups with students to improve their speech, language, and communication skills
- Help implement individualized therapy plans based on students' specific needs
- Track and document student progress, providing updates to SLPs, teachers, and families
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to student success
Required Qualifications:
- Active SLPA Certification in Louisiana
- Completion of an accredited SLPA program
- Ability to pass district-required background checks
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Previous experience in a school setting is preferred, but not required
