Blazerworks is excited to announce an opportunity for a full-time School Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our partner school district in San Jose, CA for the 2024-2025 school year. This role is perfect for professionals looking to make a meaningful difference in the lives of students, helping them overcome challenges and succeed academically and personally.
Position Overview:
As a School Occupational Therapist, you will:
- Provide direct therapy services to students with varying needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
- Conduct assessments to identify students' strengths and areas of need.
- Support students in developing fine motor skills, sensory processing, and self-care abilities.
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and adapt therapy plans as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Active California Occupational Therapist (OT) license.
- Prior experience in a school or pediatric setting is preferred.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to support student success.
