Blazer Jobs is hiring a skilled Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide therapy services to students in Norwalk, CT. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual passionate about working with children and supporting them in achieving success in the classroom.
Requirements:
- Active COTA license in Connecticut
- Experience with pediatric or school-based OT services preferred
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work well in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team
Responsibilities:
- Support the implementation of IEP goals and provide direct OT services to students
- Help students improve their motor skills and functional tasks
- Document progress and assist with progress reports
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to ensure the success of OT interventions
