Blazer Jobs is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join a school district in Port Orchard, WA. This is a full-time position where youll support students in achieving their educational goals through meaningful therapy services.
Requirements:
- Valid COTA license in Washington
- Experience working with children in a school-based or pediatric setting
- Knowledge of OT assessments, interventions, and therapies
- Ability to collaborate with the occupational therapist and multidisciplinary team
Responsibilities:
- Assist in providing occupational therapy services to students
- Help students with their daily activities and fine motor skills
- Collaborate with OT to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Document and track student progress and communicate with families
- Support students in adapting to school routines and activities
