Responsibilities Include:
- Assessing and diagnosing speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
- Developing and implementing individualized therapy plans tailored to students' needs.
- Working closely with teachers, parents, and school staff to ensure effective support.
- Attending and participating in IEP meetings to create and update student goals.
- Documenting progress and maintaining compliance with school and state regulations.
- Educating staff and families on strategies to support communication development.
Requirements:
- A valid California Speech-Language Pathologist license.
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
- ASHA Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Prior experience in a school setting is highly desirable.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
