Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Okemos, MI, working with K-12 students to address speech and language disorders. In this role, you will assess, diagnose, and treat communication impairments while collaborating with educators and parents to ensure that each student reaches their full potential. Key Responsibilities
As a Speech Language Pathologist in our district, your duties will include but are not limited to:

Assessments and Diagnostics:
Conduct thorough assessments to identify speech and language disorders, including issues related to articulation, fluency, voice, and language comprehension.

Individualized Treatment Plans:
Develop and implement evidence-based therapy plans tailored to each students needs. Set specific, measurable goals in line with individual education plans (IEPs) and monitor progress.

Therapy Services:
Provide individual and group speech therapy sessions to students, utilizing a variety of treatment techniques and interventions to improve communication skills.

Collaboration:
Work closely with teachers, special education staff, and families to integrate speech and language goals into students' academic programs and daily routines.

Progress Monitoring:
Regularly track and document students progress, adjusting therapy techniques and goals as necessary to meet their evolving needs.

Social Communication Skills:
Support students in developing effective social communication skills, aiding in their ability to interact with peers and teachers in both academic and social settings.
