Key Responsibilities
As a Speech Language Pathologist, your day-to-day tasks will include:

Conducting Assessments:
Evaluate students speech and language abilities to identify needs and develop personalized therapy plans.

Providing Individual and Group Therapy:
Implement targeted therapy sessions, using evidence-based techniques to address communication challenges.

Collaboration with Teachers and Families:
Work closely with educators and families to create and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) and ensure consistency in student progress.

Tracking Progress:
Regularly assess student progress, adjusting plans and therapy techniques as necessary to meet evolving needs.

Promoting Positive Outcomes:
Help students gain confidence in their communication skills, ensuring they feel supported and empowered in the classroom and beyond.
Who Were Looking For
To succeed in this role, you should have:

Certification:
CCC-SLP (Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology)

Education:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a closely related field.

Licensure:
Active North Carolina state licensure to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist (or eligibility for licensure).

- Experience working with children in an educational setting (preferred but not required)
