Blazer Jobs is actively seeking a dedicated Remote Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in partnership with schools in Winchester, Virginia. This full-time position allows you to make a positive impact from the comfort of your home, providing essential speech and language support to students. As part of our team, you will work to help students overcome communication challenges and achieve their academic and personal goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct remote assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech and language disorders.
- Deliver engaging virtual therapy sessions tailored to each student's specific needs.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and school staff to ensure the success of therapy interventions.
- Maintain detailed documentation of therapy sessions, progress reports, and IEP goals.
- Participate in virtual IEP meetings and provide expert recommendations for student support.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Current Virginia SLP license issued by the Virginia Board of Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) is required.
- A minimum of one year of experience working as an SLP in a school-based or pediatric setting.
- Strong computer and technology skills to facilitate effective teletherapy sessions.
