In this full-time role, you will play a pivotal role in fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment by addressing students' social, emotional, and behavioral needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and group counseling to students, promoting mental health and emotional well-being
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to create tailored support plans for students
- Conduct assessments and offer interventions that address academic and behavioral challenges
- Act as a resource for teachers and staff, providing strategies for managing diverse classroom needs
- Coordinate with community agencies to connect students and families with additional resources
- Participate in IEP and 504 plan development for students requiring additional support
- Promote a safe and supportive school environment by implementing evidence-based social and emotional learning strategies
What Were Looking For:
- Masters degree in Social Work (LMSW) and current Missouri licensure
- Previous experience in a school or youth-focused setting preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse school teams and community members
