Blazer Jobs is seeking a compassionate School-based Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join the team in Moriarty, NM. This position involves providing direct support and therapeutic interventions to students with varying abilities, helping them achieve their educational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct occupational therapy services under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
- Assist students with fine motor skills, sensory processing, and other related activities.
- Support the development and implementation of students IEPs.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other support staff.
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and therapy sessions.
Qualifications:
- Associates Degree in Occupational Therapy Assisting from an accredited program.
- New Mexico State COTA License required.
- Minimum of one year of experience working with children in a school setting.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate in a team environment.
